Sociology 288 Reopens

Started by Mike Sosteric March 9, 2011 - 8:32am

After a long and painful absence Sociology 288, the companion class for Sociology 287, reopens. Together Sociology 287 and 288 make up a standard six credit introduction to the study of Sociology.

The new course is a fitting sibling for Sociology 287. It takes a look at ideology and social change and uses real life, close to home, examples like homework and competition, to unpack and teach a basic critical orientation. Like Sociology 287 the course is both entertaining and enlightening, expanding both your understanding of the world we live in and also your appreciation of the depth and breadth of the Sociology.

The course, also written by Dr. Mike Sosteric, will open for April registrations within the next few days.
