Welcome to Athabasca University!
Attention new students! If you are starting your program in January 2011, or if you started previously and still have questions about AU, please join the AUGSA for an Orientation session in January.
This January, AUGSA will be hosting several webinar-style orientation sessions for new AU graduate students, as well as returning students who are still trying to learn their way around our digital campus.
Orientation sessions will include must-know information on AU programs, library services, student services, awards, academic regulations, as well as other helpful tips and tricks. Sessions will be facilitated by members of the AUGSA Council and staff, and attendees will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Attending orientation at AU is a great way to ensure you have the resources and knowledge available to help you be successful at Athabasca University.
Orientation sessions are around 1 – 1.5 hours in length, and are conducted using an online meeting software called GoToMeeting.com. This software is Mac or PC Compatible. If you have a mic or headset, you can connect to the meeting easily through the internet. Or, you can dial in to the meeting through a phone. During Orientation, AUGSA members will be standing by in case you encounter any technical difficulties.
We will be holding orientation sessions:
Tuesday, January 11th, at 7am MST

If you would to attend Orientation, please RSVP to president@augsa.com, and let us know which session you’d like to come to. Information on how to access the session will then be sent to you via email.
