Previous Employers and Education
To see more about my education and work history, please take a look at my LinkedIn. Here are some of the companies that I have worked at.
The IESO, HomeTrust, Michael Hill, Longos, Mountessouri Schools. In that time my positions have been various from a salesman to a retail
grocery cash worker and summer camp counselor to make money while I was in highschool.
In University I've had more relevant opportunities as
a summer renewal student, and an engineering studies student at a regulatory power company the IESO. I have learned many skills from my
various workplaces, but the most relevent to my degree was my work in the Connection Assessments departments aiding the work of
Power System Analyst Engineers who assess the connection of new entities to the Ontario Powergrid and determine whether they meet the constraints
of the Power System Code in Ontario and meet the necessary phenomena criteria; that being voltage, transient, thermal stability standards among others.
Resume and Goals
My goal is to be an Electrical Engineer in the Power Industry. To me, there is no higher purpose. Power is in every aspect of our modern day lives, I cannot think of anything more noble than to keep the lights on and essentially keep society running. With Electrification, the changes to the grid in the upcoming years will be unprecedented, and it is now more than ever that we need to fix the problems with our Power Grid for a sustainable future.
