Megan Williams, an undergraduate Anthropology program student at AU, joined me at McMaster University last week to conduct obsidian sourcing analysis on materials from the ancient Maya site of Alabama in Belize. Read about her experience in our blog for the Stann Creek Regional Archaeology Project (link below). This analysis will form part of her undergraduate independent research project (ANTH 405). Megan will also be joining the SCRAP team in the field in Belize this summer (2016) for her first archaeological field experience.
