• The following information is applicable to all computing platforms
• The best quality for saving digital audio recordings is a lossless format
• A lossless digital format retains all the data that was captured during recording

Save audio recordings in  WAV  format

For transferring audio files across the Internet, use  FLAC  format.
(FLAC = zip for audio players and editors)

Caveat For MAC GarageBand Users

- Does not easily export WAV via Share

- Share exports lossy formats (i.e., OGG, MP3)
