Learning Diary – Unit 0

                So far I am just beginning this course and it seems like it will be a whole lot of fun and headaches!  I made the mistake of signing up for this course well before I had the time to start it, due in part by financial reasons and moving out on my own.  Unfortunately, I have a few months less than the course study guide suggests, but I am prepared to work that much harder! J  At this time, I still have a few things I need to fix to get the course working properly.  It seems that I am having troubles bookmarking pages on the landing.  I get an error message every time that won’t let me complete it, so that is one thing I hope to accomplish before Unit 1, when the main course begins.  I have sent a request to SCIS for access to build my website, as well I have joined the COMP 266 Landing group as instructed.  I hope that once I get into Unit 1 I will have a better idea of I want to incorporate into a website.  Right now I am completely clueless as to what I would even want to make a website about, but I am sure I will be able to think of something interesting!  I look forward to the interactions with other members on this site, and I hope that I can help others with some things if I get stuck, and in kind, do the same for others.  I am not sure if it is required of me to submit a Learning Outcome form for this Unit, but if I find I must from information on the Landing, I will very soon.  Anyways, I look forward to the course ahead of me.  Wish me luck!
