Holmberg highlights some characteristics to the practice of student-tutor interaction in Distance Education:

"Friendly and really helpful interaction between students and tutors should characterise the communication. Students should be regarded and treated as partners, not as clients"

I just wondered: shouldn’t it be the characteristics of all higher education?
