The ungrading approach means that I can complete the activity without having to carefully follow the instruction of the assignment to revise my work as I usually do with other assignments. The ungraded approach is often used for open-ended questions, where there is usually no standard answer, so that people can use critical and open-minded thinking to complete such activities. When there are no boxed grading criteria to govern the work, people are often free to express their ideas authentically and fully. For activities where there is no marking criteria, there is actually a deeper meaning or a broader requirement for the work. The aspects that I needed to pay attention to when completing my work did not decrease but rather increased, requiring a more comprehensive consideration of the nature of the problem. Using more time to comprehend the texts that need to be read was in my opinion the key to helping me complete the course. A better understanding of the meaning of the text is often more important than revising the work in completing an activity. The activities in this course will help me to better understand the progress of my studies and consolidate my knowledge. It also helps me to plan my studies in a systematic way and to better understand the learning process.
