Denise Gaspard-Richards describes the challenges and learnings that resulted from The University of the West Indies switching from a traditional ADDIE-based course design process to an agile project management style of learning design when the university decided to develop wrap-around courses that used open educational resources (OERs). Her experience provides insights on how a distributed workforce like that at Athabasca University can adopt the agile learning design process specifically in the context of OER use and remixing.
