Evidence for Early Cheesemaking Gets Older and Older...

The analysis of fatty acids on broken ceramics at two archaeological sites in Croatia suggests that Mediterranean cheesemaking dates back 7,200 years.  Members of the team of US researchers who made the discovery have suggested that dairy production was a powerful catalyst to help civilization grow!
