What we can learn from international initiatives on OER: A POERUP video lecture

Below is a link to a videolecture that I gave at a POERUP (Policies for OER UPtake) Euro project workshop in Sheffield, England on July 3rd, 2013. Be warned it is longer than an hour. My usual harangue supporting OER. Towards the end  at 53:05 I compare the 2012 Supreme Court of Canada "pentalogy" decision with the advice previously provided by the AUCC, demonstrating how wrong they were in the guidance that they  provided to universities.
