I'm taking the first serious research-based course of my Master's, and it's challenging but very interesting. I've chosen topics that I don't know much about, and it's forced me to read a huge amount of material to get up to speed on the subject matter. I haven't chosen a topic area for my research focus yet, but I'd like to look at applications of Data Science in the area of Computer Security. Still a bit of time to nail that down, but the research aspect seems a lot more interesting than I originally anticipated.
