Students enrolled in Anthropology 394 (Urban Anthropology) will find a recent article on Amazon's proposed HQ2 locations of interest.  According to associate professor Murataza Haider and real estate industry veteran Stephen Moranis,  the announcement  that Queens, NY and Arlington, VA are the chosen sites shows that Amazon has recognized that suburbs are more than bedroom communities.  Haider and Moranis bring well known publications on edge cities and edgeless cities into their discussion.
