A presentation about Inuit landscape featuring archaeologist Colleen Hughes will be held Jan. 16 at the Esplanade's Studio Theatre in Medicine Hat.  It starts at 7 PM.    Entitled "What's in a Name", the presentation features the vast arctic landscape as Hughes reveals information that can be gleaned from Inuit place names and how it can shed light on the archaeological record. The presentation is being held in conjunction with the exhibition Echoes in the Ice: Finding Franklin's Ship.  The presentation is free and admission to the galleries will also be free prior to the program.
