World Heritage Committee Meeting (UNESCO)

The World Heritage Committee,  an agency of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Culture Organization (UNESCO),  is meeting for its 43rd session June 30 to July 10 in Baku, Azerbaijan.  Under consideration are 36 nominations for possible inclusion in the World Heritage List.  Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park, a sacred Blackfoot site in southeastern Alberta,  is up for consideration.
