I have been posting for some time on the Landing, and I would like a means of documenting the review of these archived posts. This would help me improve my writing, and reveal areas to pay extra attention to in future.
I would also like to see how others view the posts, and how useful they have been, and get some feedback.
Thus, I'd like to suggest a design change in the "write a blog post" page template.
I recognize how complex the templates are, and recognize that introducing a way of assessing resource annotation posts might seem restrictive; if possible, I suggest a means of aggregating the different versions of checklists, templates and rubrics put together by students, faculty and researchers into an assessment bank that can be accessed through the Review this post link (in the template above).
Not having any structured assessment is no better than having too many rules; if a selection of templates, checklists, and rubrics could be made available for learners, to choose to use as they prefer, then it would a great advantage for them when they can review their learning and progress for the final e-portfolio reflections towards the end of their program.
The Landing is a social site for Athabasca University staff, students and invited guests. It is a space where they can share, communicate and connect with anyone or everyone.
Unless you are logged in, you will only be able to see the fraction of posts on the site that have been made public. Right now you are not logged in.
If you have an Athabasca University login ID, use your standard username and password to access this site.
We welcome comments on public posts from members of the public. Please note, however, that all comments made on public posts must be moderated by their owners before they become visible on the site. The owner of the post (and no one else) has to do that.
If you want the full range of features and you have a login ID, log in using the links at the top of the page or at https://landing.athabascau.ca/login (logins are secure and encrypted)
Posts made here are the responsibility of their owners and may not reflect the views of Athabasca University.
