A few days ago, a couple of women in one of my Math classes were talking while they were waiting for class to start. The first was telling the second about some major dental work she'll have to do soon. The second woman made a comment that she would probably need to be put under for the work.

The first woman burst out "But I don't want to be sedated!"

I couldn't help but say "Oh, so I guess you're not a Ramones fan, huh?"

Both women turned and looked at me like I had just grown a second head.

*sigh* I feel old.
