Data from online institutions

Too often ratings of universities from McLeans and US News completely omit online institutions and thus don't allow either our students or ourselves to benchmark our programs against other online institutions. USNews is reported to be undertaking its first review of the onlines, but nothing to date.

Thus, I was pleased to see a new site that provides data (though some is a bit sparse) on 18 online universities (both for profit and public). The College Choices for Adults site provides demographic summaries on students (age, employment, race etc.) and % who complete programs.  I am somewhat reassured about the quality of the sites as it comes and is vetted WCET the non profit consortium of mostly public colleges.  We (Athabasca) were members of WCET for a number of years, but haven't renewed our membership largely because we thought they were too campus based!.

I would love to see Athabasca in this listings. Institutional Studies has some of the data requested, and others is gathered by graduate surveys by the Alberta government. U of Phoenix (largest online school) is notable by their absence but other big players (American Public and Kaplan) are in the ratings. The site allows side by side comparisons, which is useful.

Any reasons why Athabasca data should not be listed here??
