Unit 4: Script use and Augmentation
I didn't like how my marina webpage was cluttered with a long list of marinas. I found a solution that involves collapsing the categories with javascript here: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_js_collapsible_symbol
The code is short, and based on my *very* limited javascript knowledge, appears to be well written and bug free. The code lacks comments, so I've added comments throughout so that I can better understand the code.
I've put the script into a separate file that is loaded in once the page loads. If the script loads before the html then the script doesn't work.
This supports my personas and scenarios by simplifying the site, and make it easier and smoother to navigate.
