Am I allowed to find this comical as well as disturbing? OccupyCanada has Facebooked a link to a Guardian article from this past spring:

None of the interventions would be in English, as it would be unlawful to "address US audiences" with such technology.

It reminds me of that Simpsons episode where an officer describes the military's "superliminal" messaging and recruiting techniques.
