The bad times continue to role for Facebook. Intresting article outlining the systemmic organizational and cultural issues facing Facebook amid it's already declining user base.
Facebook's inertia on the fundamental issues of misinformation and hate speech, regardles of what side of the debate you fall on, are lazy at best and just bad business. This article is another excellent example of their tendancy to deflect criticism and discredit whistleblowers while simutaneously seemingly only offering press statements on how they're addressing these issues while taking not material reforms to actually address them.
While I'm speculating, I would imagine their concerns rest solely on declining engagement rather than the "safety of everyone on facebook".
Also, I guess I'm officially old now as Facebook is the platform most of my social circle uses, lol.
