Technologies for people, not disabilities: ensuring access and inclusion

While communication technologies have the potential to break down barriers and expand access for people with disabilities it can also create unexpected forms of exclusion. This article explores some of the ways that even assistive technology can result in social exclusion and proposes alternative ways of thinking about inclusive and accessible technology.
