The blog posting provides links to a report on the relative accessibility of four learning management systems: Blackboard 9.1 (Service Packs 6 and 8), Desire2Learn 1.0, Moodle 2.3 and Sakai 2.8.0. Included in the final report is a listing of the criteria used to evaluate each of the LMSs and a downloadable Excel spreadsheet containing the evaluation results based on category/criteria. Each system was evaluated using functional testing (based on particular task/activity) rather than technical testing criteria (WCAG or automated accessibility checker).
