A good analysis by Katy Jordan of a representative handful of MOOCs, albeit skewed a bit because it only looks at those that made their data available. Some interesting correlations - longer courses attract more students, but shorter ones retain them better, for instance. Mostly confirms what we already know, though: that xMOOCs are mostly taken by mature proficient learners and very few reach the end.
