A peer-reviewed republication of the 2007 Andersen-Frenz report commissioned by Industry Canada to study the impact of P2P file-sharing on the Canadian music industry. Their welcome conclusions: first, that "among Canadians actually engaged in it, P2P file sharing increases CD purchases"; and second, "no direct evidence to suggest that the net effect of P2P file sharing on CD purchasing is either positive or negative for Canada as a whole."
Naturally, the study and its authors have become magnets for CRIA flak.
