Two announcements from the research office:
Greetings, All.
SAS is now offering a free University Edition of their powerful statistical analysis software:
http://www.sas.com/en_us/software/university-edition.html
Feedback to date about this software indicates that while it is perhaps a bit cumbersome compared to SPSS for the average user, it is very powerful and easier to use than something like R .... and it's free. Also, SAS has a long history and excellent documentation, user support community, online tutorials and so on.
If you decide to try it out, please do share your feedback with the Research Centre. Thanks!
