Many discussions and bookmarks from this group already touch on topics of social intelligence, social cognition and the interdependence of all social entities call the “Collective”. This article (http://0-ieeexplore.ieee.org.aupac.lib.athabascau.ca/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=4136863) talks about the many social, economic and cultural changes in context of social computing that occurs in the past decade. Mostly interesting the cultural shift from information gathering or “taking cues” from one another as well as on community based sites rather than from well establish and traditional authority sites. The article also touches on the topic of “recommender” and reputation building in business and public sector as well as discussing of online gaming platform used as a learning platform.
