HRIP Internship Opportunity: Collections Management Archival Technician Full-time Temporary Historical Resources Intern position at the Provincial Archives of Alberta, Edmonton Salary Range: $37,932 - $60,055 This position is responsible for providing technical support to the Provincial Archives (PAA) in meeting its mandated function of acquiring, preserving and making available records of permanent value to the people and Government of Alberta. The position works closely with archivists in a team setting, supporting their efforts as well as those of the reference staff and the FOIP staff. The Archival Technician's work is a critical part of the continuum of effort that is required to ensure that records which have long term permanent value are maintained for use by present and future generations. This position is a four year term. Interns will be expected to complete the courses required to attain an Undergraduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Heritage Resources Management from Athabasca University by the end of their internship.
