AUGSA is hosting a Meet & Greet event for AU graduate students in the Edmonton area on September 13th. Full details for this event are below. We hope to see you there!

AU Ingenuity Conference Opening Reception hosted by the Athabasca University Graduate Students' Association (AUGSA)
Time:
5-9pm (Guests should arrive at 5pm if possible, but are welcome to arrive later if 5pm isn't possible)
Formal program from 5:30-6pm
Opening remarks to be delivered by Hon. Jeff Johnson (Minister of Education and MLA for Athabasca-Redwater) and Amanda Nielsen (President, AUGSA)
Keynote Speech to be delivered by Hon. Thomas Lukaszuk (Deputy Premier, Minister of Enterprise and Advanced Education, MLA for Edmonton Castledowns)
Other special guests in attendance include MLAs Sohail Quadri, David Xiao, Matthew Jeneroux, Naresh Bhardwaj, Dave Quest, Bruce McAllister, Don Scott, Members of Parliament James Rajotte and Brent Rathgeber, Dr. Frits Panneoek (President, Athabasca University), members of the Athabasca University Board of Governors, and conference presenters.
At this event, free drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and generous appetizers will be available for reception attendees.
During the formal program at 5:30pm, a door prize valued at $500 will be up for grabs.
