By default, the Landing will send you emails if people comment on your posts or post things to groups of which you are a member. It is possible to set this so that you receive no notifications at all, or you can avoid emails and get notifications delivered to your message box on the Landing so that you only see them when you log in (look for the mail icon on the top bar - it tells you if you have messages waiting)

You can change this to suit your needs by selecting 'My Account' from the toolbar. From there:

• select Notifications for fine-grained control over whether you receive email notifications when people comment on your posts, or the people you are following post something, or something is posted in groups or collections you own.
• select Group Notifications to do the same for groups you are a member of
