The Pinboard is a powerful and sophisticated tool to collect and present your posts, with a lot of control over the layout and appearance. Note that, for owners, there are three modes to consider: creating or editing the pinboard itself provides the usual title, description and tags that you get with most Landing posts, as well as the means to choose your Pinboard layout. Once you have created the Pinboard, you can view it in edit mode or display mode. In edit mode you can add widgets to display the content, whereas in display mode you can see it as others will see it. Note that, like wikis, you can allow other people to contribute to your Pinboard if you wish.
Once you have created your pinboard you can pin almost anything on the site to it - look for the pin icon on most pages. Pinning something to a pinboard makes it available to be used, but you will need to add a 'pin' widget to actually display it on the pinboard.
