About me
Born in the mountains of B.C., Canada, and grew up in Rossland, B.C., and Kelowna, B.C. Loved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for my post-secondary education at the University of Alberta. After many years of a pattern of studies/work/studies/work/studies, I was privileged to earn degrees in education at the bacherlor's, master's, and doctorate level: B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D.
My professional experience over the last thirty years has been very rewarding, especially in my private practice helping children and adults overcome their learning difficulties.
I am currently (2012) taking a psychology course at Athabasca University in preparation for taking yet another degree: an exciting distance education Master of Counseling course, commencing in September 2013. Needless to say, I believe in lifelong learning, whether in terms of formal credentials or on-the-job training.
