I teach Technology courses in a junior high school in Newfoundland. This includes teaching my students how to create multimedia projects (e.g. audio, video, animations, ...), computer applications skills (e.g. MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, ...), programming in LEGO NXT robotics, and much more. I am also a leader in Technology Education in the province and I cam currently serving as the President of the Technology Education Special Interest Council (TESIC), which is a part of the Newfoundland Labrador Teachers Association (NLTA). I am also the Operational Partner for FIRST LEGO League (FLL) in the province and the Technical Chair of the LEGO Robotics Committee for NL Skills Canada.
I hope to pursue a career in distance education. Meanwhile, most of my time is taken up with teaching and advocating for technology in education. I am currently working on a proposal for an k-12 iPad project in Newfoundland Labrador.
