On Wednesday, May 30, as part of the series of practical conversations on online teaching and learning hosted by the educational development group, I presented some of my thoughts about course models at AU. The session began with an overview of current theory on distance education pedagogies and a brief treatment of recent history in moving print-based courses to the online learning environment. It also involved answering questions from members of the community about a variety of course design processes and services, including assessment, OERs, copyright, and other leading practices.
More than 45 people participated, either in person or online. The link to the recording is https://connect.athabascau.ca/p33492302/.
