I have received the SparkFun Inventor's Kit and I am excited to get started with it. The first thing did was to check that all the components listed in the SIK guide were present in the kit. After I confirmed that everything was present, I proceeded to stick the breadboard and screw the RedBoard onto the baseplate according to the instructions in the guide. I also inserted some AA batteries into the battery holder. I left most of the smaller components inside their plastic bags to reduce the likelihood that I lose some of them and so that they stay in pristine condition until I want to use them.
