Today I took my ukulele learning out in public for my first ever performance.  While it was exciting it was also very humbling despite my very supportive audience.  Leading up the performance I felt relatively confident, but that quickly evaporated when I started to play.

It's interesting how a performance really seems to accentuate certain elements of your playing.  The first thing I noticed was how often I didn't really seem to be able to support my instrument; it seemed to keep slipping.
