Attached is a zipped version of my website and the JavaScript file:

Unit 4 was extremely interesting and created an opportunity for me to see how JavaScript can be merged into HTML to make the website really interactive. I used this opportunity to enhance my programming JavaScript. I practiced through the following sites:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JavaScript
http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp
https://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/24-javascript-best-practices-for-beginners--net-5399
It took awhile to find the appropriate script as I wanted it to enhance the capability of my website and provide a useful feature to my persona.
The JavaScript coding I chose from javascriptsource.com add a search feature to my website. This is would be extremely useful to my persona such as the mom and school student. It would save their time and give them the ability to search on search engines ( google, yahoo or both) without leaving the website. However, the code could have been more beneficial if it did not take the user away from the website once search is clicked. The search window should have opened up in a separate window.
In search for a Javascript code I checked out the following:
http://www.javascriptsource.com/forms/?p=2
http://www.javascriptfreecode.com/
http://www.jssor.com/demos/scrolling-logo-thumbnail-slider.slider
