Jumbo Wild travels deep into the Purcell Mountains of British Columbia where the land is wild. For the Ktunaxa Nation, it is an area known as Qat’muk, the sacred home of the grizzly bear spirit. This corridor is one of only two remaining areas in North America where grizzly bears can freely roam between Canada and the United States. For decades, First Nations, conservationists and backcountry skiers have fought the proposed Jumbo Glacier Resort. What more will it take to keep Jumbo wild for good?
