African cites are urbanizing without globalizing

Students enrolled in Anthropology 394: Urban Anthropology may find a recent article in the Globe and Mail of interest.   Author Brian Lee Crowley discusses the different trajectories of modern cities and highlights the disparity between patterns of growth and provision of services and institutions, particularly among megacities of the African continent.
