Alex Bozikovic's recent article in the Globe and Mail entitled "Why Our Jane Jacobs World Needs a Little Robert Moses, Too" provides a review of a recent  film on Jacobs (Citizen Jane: Battle for the City) plus an evaluation of her ongoing  influence on urban development and design.

I saw this movie earlier this year as part of "Bacon Fest" in Calgary. It is a great movie, but I completely agree with Bozikovic when he says that Moses is depicted as "looks and sounds like a B-movie villain". There is definitely a clear slant being presented. Still, great movie and I highly recommend for all ANTH 394 students if they have a chance to see it.
