Unit 6: Learning Diary Part 1 - JQuery Proposal

By Jamal Habash in the group COMP 266 July 30, 2018 - 8:36pm

Hey All! The following is my JQuery Proposal.

I intend on making a dynamic contact form with JQuery. I will use the form validation features to ensure that the data being placed into the form is as correct as possible. Additionally, I will be using JQueary to make an AJAX request and send data from the form to a google sheet.

The purpose of the JQuery code is to improve the ability for website users to contact me. They will simply need to place their information into the form and click submit. This planned change is a great improvement over the current form submission which has no validation checking, and generates an email pop-up for the user to complete themselves.

This meets better meets the purpose of the website, making it an easy way of being able to contact me. Users such as Sanjay Lee or Matthew Black from unit 1 may find it appealing to use the form in order to contact me, ask questions and get to know me.
