One Teacher's Experience with Web 2.0

One of the teachers I work with agreed to allow me to post examples of the way she uses web 2.0 technology in her teaching practice. She is a French Immersion teacher so many of her examples are in French and I have left her comments to me as well:

  • edublogs (http://judybenson.edublogs.org/page/2/)
  • My edublogs page with the above slideshare and clustermaps illustrated - remember key words "authentic communication"  "real audience".  It was truly motivating for my students to see that people around the world were actually reading the poems/reflections they prepared.  I cannot recreate that in class.
  • hot potatoes (http://hotpot.uvic.ca/)
  • Below is an example of a short vocab quiz which promoted success if students participated.  They could complete the quiz as many times as they wish and then did a screen capture of their best mark to email to me.

You will note that I store it on my new favorite site drop.io (http://drop.io/hidden/nusqcsg0ykacmf/asset/bGVndW1lcy1odG0=)
