I am an upper intermediate learner of Polish, having spent six years in Poland in the mid 90’s as an EFL teacher. I have recently decided to expand my edublogging to demonstrate what I refer to BFL (Blogging in a Foreign Language).
I am interested in the Polish edubloggers, and so did a bit of searching through the international edubloggers directory, through Google blogs, and through google.pl. I am unfamiliar with the specialized terminology used in the field of edublogging in the Polish language.
I found the Polish blogging site, EID, or Edukacja Internet Dialog, and clicked on Alicja Pitula’s blog post, titled “O tym jak sie nieucze” very roughly translated as On the topic of how I don’t feel like learning.
I copied the text from the blog post into Google Translate, and grimaced at the mangled (often funny) loss of meaning and distortions within the translated English prose. But it was useful, as it gave me some useful vocabulary and specialized terms:

Useful Vocabulary:
osobistej przestrzeni uczenia – personal learning space
skronilio mnie – prompting me
zastanowienia – reflection
