Unit 5 - JavaScript Examples

Website Requirements

My website is used to sell cosmetic products, so my customers should be able to place orders online. To make this task possible my website needs to allow customers to add products to a shopping cart.

JavaScript Ideas

  • Shopping cart

The shopping cart script will include adding items, removing items, increasing items quantity, decreasing items quantity, removing  an item entirely from the cart.

  • Collapsible shopping cart

Each page should have a collapsible shopping cart when the customer hovers over the cart i con on top of the page. This will help my customers to get a quick view of their shopping cart.

  • Products suggestion

After the customer adds an item to their shopping cart a small section will appear under the add button to make suggestions of other products that the customer might also like.
