This is my very first time blogging. I have thought about doing it but realized the amount of time and commitment it would require and I never did it. This should be interesting.

The Landing is a social site for Athabasca University staff, students and invited guests. It is a space where they can share, communicate and connect with anyone or everyone.
Unless you are logged in, you will only be able to see the fraction of posts on the site that have been made public. Right now you are not logged in.
If you have an Athabasca University login ID, use your standard username and password to access this site.
We welcome comments on public posts from members of the public. Please note, however, that all comments made on public posts must be moderated by their owners before they become visible on the site. The owner of the post (and no one else) has to do that.
If you want the full range of features and you have a login ID, log in using the links at the top of the page or at https://landing.athabascau.ca/login (logins are secure and encrypted)
Posts made here are the responsibility of their owners and may not reflect the views of Athabasca University.

Thanks for this post Denise.
Also thanks for taking the time to tag your first post. tagging really increases the "retrievability' of a post . It is interesting that used a hash tag as in #MDDE610. Unfortunatly, we haven't been using the hash tag, so just typing in the search window or clicking on the tags finds little else :
I realize this is a Twitter convention.
Do you think we should try to follow this convention on the Landing??
Hello Terry,
Should we be using the #? Don't ask me. I was just guessing at how to add tags. Apparently, it is not necessary.
Hi Denise:
Looks like we have similar experiences with blogs. I've always meant to dig deeper into using them but just didn't have the time. It will be good to learn more about them and see how they can benefit us in the teaching.
Hi Pam,
It is nice to "see" you again. How are you doing in your studies? Almost done?
