Hello All!
My name is Grace and I just started the course. I chose to take English 177 as an elective as part of my science degree. I will be entering my third year in September. As a science student there are less opportunites to practice writing skills; as most of our knowledge is tested through multiple choice exams. Over the past couple of years I have noticed that my writing skills have begun to diminish, as the last writing course I took was in high school. My goal is to gain confidence in writing paragraphs, letters and essays so that when the task does come upon me, I don't feel defeated. I am looking forward to working hard and challenging myself.
Grace

Thanks, Grace! I'm glad you were able to work through the problem. Each 1-2 paragraph post is marked for content, grammar, mechanics and organization. If you run out of ideas as to what to include in the paragraphs, consider some of the ideas on the assignment page at http://cll.lms.athabascau.ca/mod/page/view.php?id=12476&inpopup=1
I hope you enjoy the course!
