Cigars and farm crafts? Sounds like a good location.
Heh. :)
And it turns out, actually, that my house is your house and your house is mine.

Just caught that sneaky first link. Thanks for the listening tip about Dev -- she's got some catchy tracks.
I have no idea what that first post was about but thought I'd try to play one upmanship ;-)

Am I missing an inside joke?
Nope. Word association fun, making nonsense of Mark's space.

<explication>There are a few roads around rural Ontario named "baseline" roads. (Haven't seen them around here but I don't get out much.) I photoshopped a polaroid I'd taken of one such, near Eden Mills. This will be the cover art for the imaginary album I'm recording.</explication>
Had no idea there's an eponymous producer. Thanks for the tip!
This thread is turning into quite the dance party. Woop woop!

I'll trade you an eponymous album for an eponymous compilation. (This one's on my desert island list.)

As for the particular basslines behind all this, you can sample them in some of my DJ sets at http://www.mixcloud.com/sonicfiction/uploads/ (esp. the "Gothos bassline" and "Guest mix" sets). Set your subwoofer at 11.
Talk about steep learning curves. I think I am rather out of my depth, not even having a subwoofer except on the TV.
BUT HEY, my nephew, Luke McKeehan is Nordic Trax. Is this in the same ball game?
