For those people who think that stopping SOPA and PIPA has some how arrested big brother from watching you inside your house and monitor what you do.... well double doh!
Welcome to the new world order where humans willingly pay to be watched. I am not talking youtube cell phones etc, rather a little something that is already in place, and anyone with a new TV is already setup to happily allow SOPA and PIPA into their house... the little technology is HDCP and its impact on the consumer is far deeper than "copy protection". In fact the technology and related activities that will develop from willing consumers have nullified region coding of DVD's and Blu-Rays, among other practises. Does privacy ring a bell? SONY already tried a similar strategy with a special music CD that sent back information to the mothership from any computer using said CD.
Cheers and santé for a New Brave Year,
