Re-thinking education is already going on in Peel schools. The education board allow students to bring their own computers or mobile devices in the classroom. The question is: how is the teacher readiness for having a class with the kids using the computers in the classroom? If the kids learn from the Internet materials this is OK but how the learning is going if they use Inernet for entertainment during the time of learning. Some thoughts or training is needed
I can't agree more that teachers need to learn how to use these tools to both learn and teach before their use can be optimized in basic education settings.
