My letter to the Canada government's Minister of Industry, objecting to the new copyright Bill C-56 as a duplicitous means to enable Canada to ratify the globally unpopular ACTA deal.
Bill C-56 is politically toxic, a shameless cave-in to US lobbying, and a flagrant waste of taxpayers’ money.

Also gives enforcement (customs officers) powers that should be in the hands of judges ( if anyone).
I have to admit this common theme in the governments bills over the last couple of years to be very disturbing. (eg. Warrantless searches)
